  Medical coding is the process of taking a patient's healthcare information like medical procedures, diagnosis, necessary medical equipment and medical services information from the physician's notes. A medical coder transforms this information into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

                                       They use specific codes as diagnosis codes. International Classification of Diseases or ICD codes are used as diagnosis codes. Common symptoms of problems with the blood or blood forming tissue include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, fever, abnormal bleeding, headache or bruising easily. Disease of the blood may be diagnosed and treated by a hematologist. Treatment usually includes chemotherapy drugs and corticosteroids. Length of survival and response to treatment vary widely.
